This is one of the Tigers from Disney's Animal Kingdom. They weren't to happy today as it was pouring rain and there was thunder and lighting

Its a really great shot though, poor thing looks bored though :( Its "cage" looks very antiquated, with the small amount of plant live and the tiger just sitting there makes that shot something though, when I first looked at it I could have sworn you used photoshop and pulled some color out of it, the tiger is just so pale with its colors up front, but its back leg fur looks so vibrant!

That was just a small part of the pen, but it was very large and there was lots of plants around. This one just wanted to find some place out of the way for a bit. I did use photoshop to open the file, (I saved in .raw) and make it into a .jpeg.

Ah well you didnt change anything then, cept the file type, which can be a bit of a pain, only shot in raw once, I liked it but... I could only take like 30 photos with a (then) top of the line CF card :p

I prefer raw, as the pictures seem to be so much better (uncompressed) and if you do need to edit it's a lot easier

Well now that I got an 8 gig card for this camera I'll give it another chance if its like a staged shoot. I need more memory cards if I take every photo in raw! lol

if your camera can, maybe shoot in both?

True, but then I got two files, which would mean even less space on the drive... hmm, must find more memory cards, or I could just delete the raws of anything that doesnt look amazing on the review screen.. hmm

Raw files are usually the best to keep even though they are huge, because they can be saved into any other format and the ease of editing

I love this shot!! The colors really stand out works really well against the rustic looking wall. The little bits of gras also add a lot to it.. but having a hard time explaining why perhaps it is the offset of colors.

I wish the colour had been a little better, but I was shooting throw glass and I believe it was pouring rain on that day :(
